Living through Pain while holding onto Faith
Community Friday Nights from Lent ARE FUN!
6:30pm dinner, 7:00-8:30pm learning for all ages
Everyone is welcome for dinner or you can just come for the study. We are discussing the four principles from Craig Groeschel's book, "Winning the War in your Mind."
On May 20th, Pastor Tammy Brantley will lead the adult discussion of our second principle - Rewire. You do not need to have read the book in order to participate. Children and youth will be with family discipleship to learn about the same principle.
All Church Overnight Retreat for Spiritual Renewal
Friday June 17 - Saturday June 18
Epworth will be at Hallowood Retreat Center in Dickerson, Maryland. This is right outside of Frederick. Come for a guided by self-paced retreat. Come just Saturday day or choose to spend Friday night into Saturday.
This is an opportunity to walk the labyrinth, relax outside in the outdoor chapel, spend time safely with Epworth friends. The pastoral team will offer exercises and self guided activities for those who desire. There is no agenda for Saturday’s retreat other than renewing our soul with the power of God’s Spirit. Use this as a time for prayer, fellowship, and reflection.

Vacation Bible School
We are Making Waves at Epworth's Vacation Bible School daily. We will do some really important things this week and can’t wait to tell you and show you some of them, but here’s the thing we really want you to know. As important as all the stuff we will do during VBS is, it is important what happens in your home is EVEN MORE! And that’s why we are opening VBS up daily for Children and Adults. So welcome, moms, dads, grandparents, and anybody else who helps us survive and thrive in our homes.
