The Global Methodist Church formed has a separate denomination comprised largely of local churches who believe the UMC has grown too liberal on key cultural issues, like LGBTQ inclusion. The UMC's General Conference (GC) is April 2024. Human Sexuality will be discussed at this general conference. GC is the only body to speak for the UMC.

Listen for and provide feedback as a body of Christ particularly on the issue of human sexuality.

Hear Epworth’s preliminary statement on human sexuality as discussed by the ExecutiveTeam. The Executive Team will listen for feedback and the final statement will be modified and formally voted on by the Executive Team in March or April 2023.
