The Ana A. Brito Foundation is seeking experienced intermediate to advanced-level ESOL instructors to teach adult learners in a hybrid format (in-person & Zoom). Our program serves a diverse community from over 20 countries, offering classes from Basic to Level 5 across three trimesters (Fall, Winter, Spring).

The Bridges Program Manager leads and coordinates adult education programs, including ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), Computer, and Spanish classes, through the Epworth Ana A. Brito Foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee ESOL, Computer, and Spanish class programs

  • Coordinate class schedules, classrooms, and hybrid learning environments

  • Manage student registration, placement, attendance, and communication

  • Support, supervise, and coordinate instructors and volunteers

  • Develop curriculum and monitor student progress

  • Manage program budget, materials, and technology needs

  • Plan and lead events such as end-of-year graduation ceremonies

  • Maintain clear communication with students and the broader community

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Foster a welcoming and collaborative learning environment

  • Work closely with church leadership and ministry teams

  • Connect students with community resources (food distribution, school supplies, seasonal support)

  • Collaborate with children’s and family programs

Administration & Compliance

  • Manage grants (including MCAEL) and required reporting

  • Track student data and learning outcomes

  • Ensure compliance with program policies and procedures

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Experience in adult education or community-based programs

  • Ability to work in diverse, multicultural environments

  • Comfortable with technology and hybrid learning platforms

About the Role
The Ana A. Brito Foundation is seeking a caring and responsible Childcare Provider to care for children—primarily young children—while parents attend English and computer classes. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children from our diverse community.

​

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before each session to prepare the classroom and welcome children.

  • Prepare and organize materials as needed for activities.

  • Keep accurate attendance records and ensure parents sign children in and out.

  • Register all new children as needed.

  • Communicate with parents if a child becomes ill or needs special attention.

  • Be aware of allergies and ensure snacks are appropriate for each child.

  • Complete and submit incident reports to the Director as needed.

  • Leave all rooms clean and in the same condition they were found (shared with Epworth Preschool).

  • Supervise children at all times until a parent or guardian picks them up.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, especially in group settings.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work with a diverse community.

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

  • Must be dependable and punctual.
