Join us on the grounds of Epworth for a cookout, firework viewing, and summer celebration.

Families are invited to bring their own food basket, and some to share if they choose. We will have a hot grill available, plus hamburgers and hot dogs to share.

Outdoor games, playground access, and glow fun will be available for children, youth, and families to enjoy.

VBS classrooms will also be open for tours before VBS begins the following Monday. Families are welcome to tour Epworth’s Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms and meet some of our teachers.

The City of Gaithersburg SummerFest fireworks are launched around 9:20 PM from Bohrer Park, and Epworth is one of the named viewing areas.
